"Saltee soap" - handmade soap with sea salt & essential oils

The "Saltee soap" is inspired by the pristine Saltee Islands, their protected nature reserve, and the crisp, salty waters surrounding County Wexford. The Saltees are a haven for sea birds, nurturing an impressive array of birds, from Gannets and Gulls to Puffins and Manx Shearwaters. They also lie on an important migratory route and a popular stopping-off place for spring and autumn migrants.
🌱Focus on Ingredients:
Sodium Cocoate (Coconut Oil - Saponified) – Provides a rich, fluffy lather and has excellent cleansing properties. Coconut oil is known for its deep-cleaning abilities while maintaining moisture.
Sodium Chloride (Sea Salt) – Acts as a natural exfoliant, helps harden the soap for longevity, and can promote skin detoxification.
Sodium Olivate (Olive Oil - Saponified) – Contributes to a mild, creamy lather with moisturising and conditioning properties. Olive oil is known for being gentle and nourishing to the skin.
Glycerin – A humectant that attracts moisture to the skin, helping to keep it hydrated and soft. It also enhances the soap’s mildness.
Sodium Castorate (Castor Oil - saponified) – Boosts lather, making it creamier and more stable. Castor oil is also known for its soothing and conditioning properties.
Kaolin (Clay) – Gently exfoliates, detoxifies, and helps absorb excess oil without drying out the skin. Ideal for sensitive or oily skin types.
Himalayan Salts - Himalayan salts are placed on top for decoration. I think they look fierce fancy!
